This is the call for nominations for the following elected positions: 

Vice President Internal – 1 year term
Vice President Campus Life - 1 year term
Vice President Communications – 1 year term

Vice President Finance and Administration - 1 year term

NOTE: Executive members will receive up to $1654.50 per term for remuneration.

1 Student enrolled in an Academic Technical Program – 1 year term
1 Student enrolled in a Vocational Program – 1 year term

NOTE: Students elected to the Board will receive an honorarium of $2000.

4 Students - 1 year term

NOTE: Students receive $25/meeting remuneration.

This site has the profiles of current elected officials, nomination forms, and other election-related links. Check the election site after the nominations are in as all nominee profiles will be posted on April 1, 2019

Use the following steps if you plan to run for a position: 

Step 1: Familiarize yourself with the responsibilities of the position you want to run for.
Step 2: Print off the nomination form for the position you are running for.
Step 3: Get nominees to sign your nomination form and submit to Jason Colombo by 4:00 pm on
April 1, 2019
Step 4: Email a picture (headshot) and brief bio (1 to 2 paragraphs) to jcolombo@cotr.bc.ca by 4:00 pm 
on April 1, 2019
Step 5: Campaign from April 2, 2019 – April 10, 2019
Step 6: Vote using a computer, smartphone or mobile device (yes you can vote for yourself if you so 
choose). The electronic voting booth will be available April 11, 2019 and April 12, 2019.
Step 7: Check for Election Results on April 17, 2019

•Nomination Deadline 4:00 pm: April 1, 2019
•Campaign Period: April 2, 2019 to April 10, 2019
•Students' Association All Candidates Forum: TBD
•Election Period: April 11 and 12, 2019
•Election Results Announcement: April 17, 2019

Cranbrook Campus will have one polling station open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on April 11, 2019.

A computer will be made available at each Regional Campus to access the Electronic Voting Booth.
